Debbie first came into my office in when she was 49. She was bothered by the beginning of shadows under her eyes and a little extra skin in her upper lid. During the consultation we discussed surgical and non-surgical options and she was interested in eye surgery but did not feel she was ready for it yet.

2005
Debbie returned to seriously discuss eyelid surgery, she was 54. There was significantly more skin hanging in her upper lids and the shadowing under her lower eyelid was more pronounced. We also talked about her lower face and neck and what was involved with a facelift. Debbie emphasized that she wanted to look natural. I performed an upper eyelid skin excision (blepharoplasty) and removed fat bags from her lower eyelids and performed a fat transfer to fill in the hollowing under her lower eyelid.

2011
Debbie continued with regular maintenance of skin care and botox. She was extremely happy with her eyes and remarked that her eyes looked younger now at age 61 than they did in the pictures from 2000 when she was 49.
We started talking about a facelift to treat her lower face and neck (jowls and neck). Debbie had a lot of concerns which we talked about during a consultation; these conversations can be seen in the Facelift FAQ videos.
2012
Debbie had a deep plane facelift and a temporal (outer) browlift. As with her eyes, a natural appearance was her most important concern. The procedure was easier than she thought and is documented in her video facelift diary(link). She was ready to get out within a week of surgery. I would like to draw attention to her one week post facelift appearance.

Debbie is extremely happy with her result and many of her friends have followed her. They have been impressed by both the natural appearing result and the quick and easy recovery. Debbie and her friends are amazed that at 61 she looks younger than she did at 49.
