Dr. Clara Lee is a fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic procedures of the face, including facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), brow lift, lip lift, neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport), dermal fillers (Restylane, Juvederm), and laser resurfacing. She is passionate about delivering natural results that enhance each patient’s unique features—helping them look and feel their best.

Education

A New Jersey native, Dr. Lee discovered her passion for medicine at an early age. She attended Duke University for her undergraduate studies, where her work in cancer research and experiences volunteering in hospitals inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. She earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, graduating summa cum laude in the top 5% of her class and earning induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for her academic excellence and leadership.

Surgical Training

Dr. Lee completed a rigorous five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at New York City’s premier institutions, including NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Over the course of her training, she gained extensive operative experience, performing more than 2,500 surgical procedures of the face and neck. In her final year, she served as Chief Resident, where she led surgical teams and mentored junior trainees. In recognition of her excellence, she was honored with the 2023 Distinguished Housestaff Award by the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Alumni Council. To further specialize in cosmetic facial plastic surgery, Dr. Lee was selected for a highly competitive fellowship accredited by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She trained under renowned facial plastic surgeons Drs. Mark and Robert Glasgold, gaining advanced experience in both surgical and non-surgical techniques.

Professional Memberships

Dr. Lee is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters, and has presented her research at national medical conferences. Dr. Lee lives in New Jersey with her husband, who is also a surgeon, and their two cats. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys travel, group fitness classes, trying new restaurants, and caring for her growing collection of houseplants.
