The Restylane Procedure

As is the case with most similar treatments, the injection of Restylane Silk is primarily painless, though you do have the choice of requesting a topical anesthetic if need be. If you do decide to make use of this anesthetic, it will be applied to the lips and surrounding areas just before the treatment begins.
